Partner

Sara was born in Groton, Connecticut and raised in Jackson, Wyoming beginning in 1973 when her father moved the family via Chicago and Denver to Jackson to work as one of the valley’s earlier orthopedic surgeons.  She grew up in the Tetons and on the slopes of Snow King Mountain and the Jackson Hole Ski Area.  After graduating from Jackson Hole High School, Sara went east for college, earning a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Middlebury College in Vermont and earning a Master of Arts in Governmental Administration from the University of Pennsylvania.  Sara returned to Wyoming for law school and earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 1993.

Sara married Andrew Cornish of Westport, Connecticut and Middlebury College, and together they returned to Jackson, where she has practiced law with Mullikin, Larson & Swift LLC since 1993.  Andrew is the owner of a real estate brokerage firm and a real estate appraisal company, Brokerage of the Tetons and Rocky Mountain Appraisals.

At Mullikin, Larson & Swift, Sara has developed a civil practice with longstanding and valued clients, focusing on real estate, employment law, corporate entity formation and operation, business and construction contracts, special district and governmental entity representation, and school law. Sara has enjoyed her career relationship with her partners and has appreciated being part of such a well-respected and established local firm. She looks forward to the enhanced experience, expertise, and client service that will be provided by Geittmann Larson Swift LLP in the years to come.

Sara’s free time is spent with family skiing, traveling, and attending school and sporting events.  She and Andrew have two active high school children and often can be found on the sidelines cheering on the kids in soccer, cross-country running, and alpine and Nordic ski racing.  She enjoys playing tennis, skiing, running, hiking and reading.
