Matt Turner was born and raised on the Triangle X Ranch, a historic guest ranch located in the heart of Jackson Hole, Wyoming.  He is a member of the fourth generation of the Turner family to operate the Triangle X Ranch.  Matt spent the summers of his youth guiding four to fourteen day horseback pack trips into the Teton Wilderness Area; hosting guests from around the world.  Today he still assists with management of the Ranch and participates in hosting Ranch guests during the summer months.

Matt graduated from Jackson Hole High School in 1984, attended the University of Notre Dame and earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1988.  Matt obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas in 1993.  Matt graduated from the University of Kansas as a member of The Order of the Coif and was a Note and Comment Editor for the Kansas Law Review.

After practicing law with a large firm in Kansas City, Missouri, Matt returned to Jackson in 2000 with his wife Jamie to raise their family.  Matt and Jamie have three children and spend their free time chasing their kids down ski slopes, up rock walls, across rivers, and over dusty trails.

Matt has a local and general law practice.  His practice focuses on civil litigation, insurance defense, all aspects of real estate, employment, outdoor recreation, real estate lending, landlord tenant, commercial transactions, contracts, products liability, construction, and governmental permitting.

Jackson is and always will be home to Matt and he greatly appreciates the privilege of practicing law in an area he loves and with people he calls his friends.
